OB Christian Community School, Inc. (OBCCS) was formally accredited by Philippine Council For NGO Certification (PCNC) as a donee institution. This was affirmed after PCNC presented the certificate to OBCCS’ Board of Trustees Chairperson Angelita Resurreccion on September 27, 2018, where the certification is valid until September 26, 2021.
In a statement from the school’s official Facebook page, OBCCS said “We passed strict standards of PCNC for good governance, management and accountability… The Lord has heard our prayers, He proves Himself faithful all the time!”
An accreditation from the PCNC is needed in order to become a donee institution, where an NGO such as OBCCS could receive tax-deductible donations from any individual or group that wishes to support the said organization. Applying for accreditation from PCNC takes a long and difficult process, and getting the donee status could give a huge boost in receiving donations to fund the construction of a new school building and provide scholarships to the students.
We encourage everyone to partner with us in prayer and in financial support. You can check our prayer requests from our newsletter. All donations to the school will be counted as tax credits. For donations, you may email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
